Private Pilates in London
I offer Private Pilates covering East to West London. I can teach from the comfort of your own home or in selected studios across London.
Ivona began practicing Pilates as a remedy for scoliosis and a repetitive strain injury in the shoulder and wrist brought about many years of playing guitar. She immediately responds to the method and after 5 years of practice, she decided to train as a teacher. She trained with physiotherapists Lorna Malcom and Alex Considine of Polestar® Pilates and is a member of Registered Exercise Professional.
Her passion is rehabilitation and management of chronic injuries which she studied at the Middlesex University. She also holds an ITEC diploma in Sports Massage and a certificate in the post and prenatal Pilates and Pilates for Scoliosis and Hypermobility. Her classes are focused on breathing, correct alignment and creating space and suppleness in the body and mind to develop self-awareness. Therefore this allow clients to find their inner strength and gain an understanding of their bodies.
In 1:1 setting she likes to incorporate Yamuna body rolling, various massage techniques, PNF stretching and myofascial techniques. These soften the body and then work on client’s weaknesses to rebalance the body. She is especially interested in understanding Scoliosis and managing this condition with exercise. Ivona continues to further her knowledge by attending workshops and learning from the top people in her field.
Among her mentors are an osteopath and spinal specialist Darren Chandler from Harley street clinic and Gyrotonic and Pilates teacher Tisha Harrington of Pilates Foundation. There a very few pilates teachers in London that offer such a thorough and experienced service.

MY VISION
“Ever since I embarked on this journey as a movement therapist my curiosity led me onto studying different techniques and methods. From pilates to Yamuna body rolling, to meditation and Ayurveda to structural integration and manual therapy. I like to combine all that I have learned in my teaching, carefully selecting the best approach for my client to achieve the best results. I believe that the body is incredibly intelligent and it has a tremendous potential to heal only if we learn to listen! My work as a movement therapist is to help clients to develop body awareness so they can tune into the body’s natural healing potential and become the best version of themselves.”
